Inside our Prayagraj packing house

Everything we sell is assembled in one place in Prayagraj. It is a packing house rather than a factory — the work is counting, checking and sealing, not manufacturing.

This page describes how a box actually gets made, because 'packed with care' means nothing and a described process can at least be held to.

Intake

Stock arrives from three suppliers per category. Each batch is checked on arrival against grade and quantity, and dated. A batch that fails goes back rather than getting used in the cheaper kits.

We hold three suppliers rather than one because festival season is when single-supplier businesses fail their customers, and the failure always lands in October.

Two stations, deliberately separate

The main bench packs Nitya, Sanskar and Parv. Tirth is packed at its own station with its own procedure and its own stock of til, kush and jal.

That separation is not about contamination. It is so that no promotional insert, festival offcut or branded card can end up in a shraddha box by accident.

Packed, then checked by someone else

A kit is packed against its printed checklist by one person and inspected by a second before the box is sealed. The same checklist goes in, so the check we ran is the check you can run at home.

Where an item has been substituted, it is written on that checklist by hand. We do not reprint the card to hide a substitution.

Dispatch

Orders before 2 pm, Monday to Saturday, go the same day. Dated rites are scheduled backwards from the muhurat you give us so they arrive early, not on time.

Questions

No. We source it and assemble kits. Claiming to manufacture roli, kush and brass would be untrue — what we do is choose, count and check.
